Yolanda provides financial statements audits, reviews, and compilation services for small and medium-sized private businesses and nonprofit organizations. She helps clients stay informed of new accounting standard updates and complexities to consider in preparation of the adoption and implementation process. Yolanda enjoys learning about each client’s business and operations and helping clients find ways to streamline their internal controls and practices for more accurate financial reporting.
Yolanda provides guidance in clients' adoption of ASU 2014-09 (Topic 606) Revenue from Contracts with Customers and ASU 2018-08 (Topic 958) Clarifying the Scope of Contributions vs. Exchange Transactions by walking them through the thought process relevant to the application of these standards (i.e., sharing decision trees) and interpreting the purpose behind accounting standard updates to help them better understand how it affects their business and financial statements.
She enjoys developing professional relationships with clients and being the person they call when they have a question – small or big.
