Steve has nearly 40 years of Human Resources experience and is a HR Consultant in BPM’s Walnut Creek office. He serves clients in wide variety of industries and focuses on culture building, employee development and executive coaching. Steve helps clients discover avenues for growth. He takes pride in his ability to help resolve conflicts by encouraging open and honest communication, and he looks for ways to foster teamwork and cooperation within companies and organizations. In addition, Steve helps clients update policies to promote culture changes and retention. In the past, he’s filled in as an Interim HR Director for a client and helped with the search for a new executive. Steve has experience conducting harassment investigations and creating an action plan to encourage culture changes to prevent future need for similar investigations. His HR coaching work helps clients find realistic, short-term and long-term solutions to workplace issues. Steve excels at encouraging and empowering clients through collaboration and providing solutions. In addition to his proactive work in the office, Steve is also active in his community. He received the Volunteer of the Year award in 2004 from United Way.
In 2017, Steve and his wife completed the Camino de Santiago (partial journey) in Spain.
