Paula works in BPM’s Business Enterprise Service Team consulting practice. She manages outsource accounting functions in the department as well as developing new business and conducting internal training for staff. She has over thirteen years of experience in public accounting and general accounting and financial reporting in various industries including technology companies, wholesale distributions, retail, personal corporations, construction and nonprofit organizations. She has extensive experience with budgeting and projections, operations analysis, office administration, financial accounting and government compliance as wells as implemented financial infrastructure and developed financial and accounting reporting procedures.
Paula has served as interim CFO for nonprofit organizations, BBQ restaurant chains, a medical device company and a K-12 private school. Previous to that Paula worked as the Director of Finance and Administration for the San Jose Downtown Association (SJDA) for 9 years. SJDA is a 501 (C6) and a 501 (C3) Foundation.
Paula enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family. She lives in the Eastbay with her husband, Amin and daughter, Yasmine.
