Monica has over 20 years of HR Consulting experience with emerging and established Silicon Valley businesses. She works with executive leaders to support organizations from a Human Resources perspective. Monica can assist companies through tactical tasks, such as updating employee files or reviewing an employee handbook for compliance, and can help clients with high-level work, including strategy sessions with C-level executives to discuss how company initiatives may affect company culture. In some cases, Monica has been the only HR professional in the organization. In others, she has supported in-house HR teams through mentoring, training, strategic direction and organizational development. While Monica can help clients establish their HR function from the ground up, she can also assist with smaller needs, like implementing a special project or providing direction on best practices.
In the past, Monica established a client’s termination policy that created a consistent approach to voluntary and involuntary terminations. She also provided a C-level executive support and guidance on organizational structure to best utilize the talents and skills of the employees. Monica also has experience in revamping benefit offerings, so a client could offer better employee coverage while keeping costs the same.
