Karen has over 20 years of experience as a Human Resources professional. She is a strategic business partner and results oriented HR leader. Karen has a strong generalist background in all aspects of Human Resources. She partners with senior managers and assists them to lead and manage their organizations effectively. In addition to incorporating their goals into HR initiatives, Karen develops and implements effective HR practices and programs. She has an engaging leadership style with exceptional relationship building skill capable of guiding and communicating with all levels in an organization.
Karen has worked with companies from startups to Fortune 500 companies in the fields of high technology, biotechnology and consumer products.
In the past, Karen worked with a growing startup company to assist with the tactical implementation of HR policies and practices, including a handbook, employee referral program, term and new hire process. She also worked with the company’s leadership team to create culture-building standards through company initiatives.
She has commonly assists clients with PEO transitions, which involves meeting with benefit and HRIS vendors to select the best package for the company.
Karen can provide training to clients based on feedback practices, performance management and management training. She is experienced in all aspects of HR and knows how to apply creative HR solutions to solve business problems.
Karen enjoys traveling the world. When she’s not working, she can be found spending time outdoors or hiking in the beautiful California mountains.
