Christine Petrowicz

Chris Petrowicz has over 25 years of accounting and financial leadership experience, and supports BPM’s CFO Services team as an interim CFO/Controller and ERP implementation specialist.

She works with organizations in a wide variety of industries, including technology, biotech, retail, manufacturing and nonprofit, by leading teams of accountants and consultants tasked with supporting back office finance functions and accurately reporting financials according to GAAP.

Chris excels in accounting project management and providing GAP analysis and recommendations for systems, workflows, cash optimization, and accurate and timely financial reporting.

She supports organizations through ERP implementation and optimization by completing or correcting the configuration of NetSuite to enable existing functionality, workflows and/or reporting requirements. Chris also has technical experience creating custom fields, workflows and transaction types within NetSuite. She continues to support organizations after implementation by creating and providing NetSuite training documents for internal accounting teams.

In the past, Chris managed the accounting team for a media practice ($30M annual revenue) focused on the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She standardized the organization’s accounting and reporting systems and simplified the reconciliation between the medical billing software and general ledger, which reduced the time to close by 15 days.

Previously, Chris also managed the completion of a two year financial statement audit for a SaaS business ($80M annual revenue) by preparing the financial statements and footnotes and acting as liaison between the internal team and external auditors. During this engagement, Chris established monthly and quarterly financial forecasting and reporting infrastructure, including enhancing reporting packages with relevant metrics.

Chris also has experience in executing additional system implementations, including Avalara – Sales Tax (US & International), Concur Expense and BambooHR.
