When it comes to creating attention-grabbing, timely and informative content, Alyssa Dowdalls is a specialist in her field. With over seven years of professional writing, content creation and marketing experience, Alyssa leads BPM’s content marketing efforts and supports an incredible team tasked with building BPM’s brand recognition on the West Coast and around the world.
She implements and executes advertising, social media, PR, multimedia and content strategies that support the Firm’s tax, assurance, advisory and corporate services groups. This includes developing brochures, whitepapers, print and digital ads, social media content, thought leadership pieces and blog articles.
Alyssa works closely with many of the Firm’s growing industry and service groups, including Agribusiness and Value Acceleration and Exit Planning. She meets regularly with leaders in BPM offices along the West Coast – from Seattle to Orange County, Calif. – to ensure BPM’s expertise is reaching business leaders in new markets. Alyssa also regularly attends digital marketing, content and social media conferences to ensure BPM’s content strategies are innovative and effective.
Before BPM, Alyssa supported the marketing team at Public Storage, an S&P 500, and began her writing career as a breaking news and crime reporter at The Orange County Register. Alyssa covered a wide range of stories for California-based newspapers in Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside and Long Beach, which includes the Christopher Dorner manhunt, the pope’s appointment and an exposé on the illicit cigarette trade.
Alyssa is an enthusiastic community gardener who loves to cook globally-inspired vegan meals with the fruits and vegetables from her garden.
