SAN FRANCISCO--BPM (BPMCPA.COM), one of the largest California-based accounting and consulting firms, has been recognized as one of the Bay Area's Best Places to Work by the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley Business Journal.
BPM ranks as the 8th best place to work out of the 40 employers listed in the large company category - two spots above last year’s ranking. BPM is the only public accounting firm included in the top 10 large company category for both 2015 and 2016.
“This is a significant accomplishment, and accompanies our selection as the Best Large Accounting Firm to Work for in the Country,” said Jim Wallace, CEO of BPM. “This award is a reflection of the great team of people we have serving our clients and each other. It is these team members who create a great place to work.”
Award applicants were evaluated and ranked across 5 categories according to the number of Bay Area employees. The ranking found companies in the region whose employees rate them as the highest on such values as fun, collaborative culture, solid compensation and benefits offerings and other amenities as well as management practices.
"It’s simple – ‘because people matter’,” added Beth Baldwin,” Chief People Officer at BPM.
