BPM Welcomes Ashwani Verma as Partner and Leader of its RAAS Practice


Ashwani VermaSAN FRANCISCO, CALIF.— BPM announced today that Ashwani Verma has joined the Firm to lead its Risk Assurance and Advisory (RAAS) Practice.

“Ashwani has more than 17 years of experience in providing internal audit and risk advisory services—both in industry and within public accounting. He is an expert in internal audit strategy, enterprise risk management, SOX compliance, IT assurance, and regulatory compliance,” said Brian Finnegan, BPM’s Assurance Practice Group Leader.

“He has a distinguished record of accomplishment and new business generation. The marketplace remains strong, and we are very excited about BPM’s position in it under Ashwani’s leadership.”

Mr. Verma has served in leadership roles in internal audit and compliance at several large organizations, including PwC, Molina Healthcare and Deloitte & Touche, LLP. He joins BPM from PwC where he served as Managing Director of Risk Assurance. Prior to PwC, Ashwani was Head of Internal Audit at Molina Healthcare with enterprise wide responsibilities of internal audit, SOX compliance and enterprise risk management.
