Our Internship Program gives students the opportunity to get an accurate feel for life after college. Each internship program begins with intern orientation and a full week of training with our corporate university team, BPMU. Afterwards, interns experience hands-on training and meaningful work just as an entry-level associate would.
Each intern is assigned a Buddy and Partner Champion. They help with your transition into the firm and ensure you are getting the BPM experience. They will also help you get connected to your peers and other senior leaders in the firm!
Whether interning in Audit, Tax or Consulting, we strive to engage, challenge, and develop our interns and ready them for a fulltime position upon graduation. Our firm size allows for each intern to gain a variety of experiences through exposure to multiple teams, industries and specialties.
The audit internship is a nine-week summer internship beginning in June. Throughout the internship, interns will be assigned a variety of engagements, allowing them exposure to multiple teams, clients and industry groups. They will also attend BPM’s annual All Hands Meeting, Intern Day of Fun, and participate in the internship project. Audit interns are within one year of obtaining their 150 / 225 units required to obtain their CPA license.
BPM has two tax internship opportunities: winter and summer. The winter internship begins in January and extends through the tax deadline. This internship is the best way to understand what life is like as a tax professional, and will allow students the greatest exposure to a variety of tax work. Our winter interns are generally enrolled in a master’s program which allows for a winter internship or are not taking classes due to the demanding schedule required during this time of year.
The summer internship is a nine-week summer internship beginning in June. Throughout the internship, interns will be assigned to a variety of projects, allowing them the opportunity to work with different professionals, clients and specialty groups. They will also attend BPM’s annual All Hands Meeting, Intern Day of Fun, and participate in the internship project. Summer tax interns are within one year of obtaining their 150 / 225 units required to obtain their CPA license.
