GFOA CAFR Program Certificate

Many state and local governments submit their Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports (CAFR) to the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) in order to receive the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. BPM understands the additional reporting requirements that are required in the preparation of a CAFR in addition to the basic financial statements. As part of your financial statement audit, BPM will read the additional sections of the CAFR to ensure that the information in those sections is consistent with the basic financial statements.

BPM has the experience to understand the GFOA requirements for a CAFR and will ensure that all requirements for the CAFR report as documented in the GFOA checklist are met. This ensures that you will be confident when you submit your report for the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.
